National Cybersecurity Consortium’s Annual General Meeting – Sept 16, 2025
On September 16, 2025, the National Cybersecurity Consortium (NCC) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM). To summarize the events of the AGM, four votes were tabled and carried by NCC Members. The votes included:
- Approval of the 2025 AGM Agenda
- Approval of the minutes of the 2024 AGM
- Approval of the auditor, BDO – Audited financial statement
- Approval of Dr. Tim Evans of Concordia University as an incoming NCC Board Director
Following the AGM, we are especially pleased to be welcoming our incoming Board Member, Dr. Tim Evans. Dr. Evans has agreed to serve for a 3-year term, which will terminate at the NCC’s AGM, expected to occur in September of 2028.

We thank our Members for their participation at our recent AGM, and for lending their voice to help forge the direction of the NCC.
Biography, Dr. Tim Evans
Tim Evans is Vice-President, Research, Innovation and Impact at Concordia University. He earned a medical degree from McMaster University and a DPhil in agricultural economics from the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar.
Before joining Concordia, Evans was the inaugural director and associate dean of the School of Population and Global Health at McGill University, where he also served as associate vice president of global policy and innovation. He was executive director of Canada’s COVID-19 Immunity Task Force and held senior leadership roles at the World Bank, the World Health
Organization and BRAC University.
Throughout his career, Evans has played a key role in advancing global health initiatives. He cofounded Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, led the World Health Organization Commission on Social Determinants of Health and worked to expand access to HIV treatment and midwifery training in Bangladesh.
