Panel 6 - Building Effective Connections Between Industry and Research
Adam Cragg previously served as the Chief of Staff of the MIT Entrepreneurship Center, was the Founding Manager of the NYU Entrepreneurship Lab, having started his career as a web developer at a startup in the online food delivery space. Adam was a Founding Partner of Quake Capital, a seed-stage investor and accelerator. Quake Capital made Forbes’ list of the top ten VCs globally and was named as the 2nd most active investor in female founders.
Adam has invested in over 125 start-up businesses at seed stage, with an audited top-decile track record, and brings a wealth of experience in supporting businesses through their early years. Adam’s portfolio companies have gone on to be highly successful, with many raising larger subsequent rounds of funding, as well as achieving multiple exits via acquisition.
Adam has an MBA from the University of Oxford and a BA from the University of British Colombia.
